North and south-facing windows, stretching from floor to ceiling, flood each scene with a gentle, golden light. This diffused illumination gives skin a radiant quality, transforming every image into something truly special, without the need for harsh flashes.
Fully assembled, one-of-a-kind, and available only for a short time: Christmas sets. Every holiday season, we debut three or four completely new, fully constructed scenes, exclusive to the time of year.
The most accessible spot in the Greater Montreal area. Located just a short walk from Sauvé station on the orange line, with complimentary parking available and easy access from Laval, the North Shore, downtown Montreal, and the South Shore.

We recognize that December is busy and mini sessions need to operate like clockwork. That is why every detail at Maison Tela is handled for you: sets are professionally decorated and lighted, props are abundant and organized, furniture is easy to shift for varied family sizes, and the flow of the studio is built for speedy yet relaxed filming. Photographers appreciate being able to offer their clients fresh, never-seen-before settings each year, while families adore the zero-prep experience: simply show up in your best holiday outfits and let the magic unfold.

Do you offer ready-made Christmas sets for mini sessions?

Yes! Every November and December we install exclusive, limited-edition Christmas setups in one or more of our studios. These sets are fully styled and available for rental just like our regular themed studios.

How do I see the Christmas sets before booking?

As soon as the sets are finished (usually late October), we publish full photo galleries on the website and on Instagram (@maisontela). You’ll see every angle and every detail before you reserve.

Can I rent the studio just for mini sessions (20–30 minutes)?

Absolutely. Most photographers book 1-hour or 2-hour slots and fit 2–4 mini sessions inside. You can also book half-day or full-day if you prefer.

Which studios are used for the Christmas sets?

It changes every year! In the past we’ve transformed Studio Metropolitan, Studio Blanc, and Studio Barbie’s World into holiday scenes. We always choose the spaces with the best natural light for winter shooting.

Are props and furniture included?

Yes – everything you see in the published photos (tree, lights, gifts, seating, blankets, etc.) is included in the rental. You’re also welcome to bring your own additional props.

Is the studio pet-friendly?

Yes, well-behaved pets are always welcome with prior notice.

What if I need to cancel or move my date?

Standard cancellation policy applies: free reschedule or full refund if you cancel more than 7 days before your booking.
