Please do not wander into any of the rooms you are not renting. If you would like a tour of other studio rooms, kindly ask our reception staff and they will be happy to assist you.

Maison Tela allows pets in the studio with a $50 pet fee (per pet).

Since none of the studio rooms are soundproof, please keep the noise level to a reasonable volume, including any use of music. Music played in the studio must not contain any explicit content.

Upon arrival, please ensure one guest has filled out our general liability form. We have attached
it here for easier reference. This must be filled out online prior to arrival.

● All shoots have to be paid in full at the time of booking.
● Maison Tela offers studio credit for canceled bookings as we do not issue refunds.
● You can reschedule your booking and claim your full studio credit by canceling your reservation within 24hrs. There is a 18$ charge for rescheduling.
● If canceling a booking beyond the 24-hour notice can result in a day of cancellation.
● No-show appointments will not receive any studio credit

All of our photography bookings are done at www.maisontela.com using our online scheduling system. Online bookings are for photography only. If you are planning on hosting an event or shooting video content with sound, please email us directly at [email protected] to get pricing and make reservations.

● To keep our studio floors and furniture clean, we ask that you remove your outside shoes when you enter the studio rooms. We can provide you with shoe covers or you can bring indoor shoes. Please note that models appearing on camera are exempt from this policy, but we kindly ask that they take care to immediately wipe any marks or dirt from their
shoes before moving about the studio. All wedding parties must ensure their shoes are clean. There is a damage fee for standing on the furniture.
● Our attendants will be visiting your studio rooms within 10 minutes prior to the end of your booking to ensure that the room is left in its original condition. Furniture and props need to be moved back to their original place and all garbage must be placed into garbage cans.
● Our studio attendants can check the rooms during your studio time if we hear loud noises, dragging of furniture, or suspected violation of studio rules and/or safety. They will knock on the door before entering and give you a warning before coming in.

● We have cameras installed in our common areas/reception areas, however, we do not have any cameras inside the studio rooms.
● Since the studio rooms are not soundproof, please keep the noise level to a reasonable volume, including any use of music. Music played in the studio must not contain any explicit content. If the noise becomes too loud, we will ask you to turn it down.
● Our studios cannot be used to shoot pornographic content.

● If a member of your party comes to the studio intoxicated, we reserve the right to ask
them to leave the premises.
● Smoking (including recreational drugs) is not permitted on studio premises.
● Your booking is only for the room that you rented. If you would like a tour of other studio rooms, kindly ask our reception staff and they will be happy to assist you.
● Customers are responsible for loading and unloading their belongings into the elevator due to liability issues. Studio attendants are not responsible for bringing client’s items in/out of the studios and are not responsible for clients’ personal belongings.
● All active flames must be contained at all times or our Studio Attendant will ask you to put out the flame immediately.
● Please note that failure to respect the studio rules, studio staff, or other bookers, will result in immediate termination of your booking and can result in a permanent ban.

● Please bring all of your belongings into the studio rooms that you are renting and take them home with you after your photoshoot/event. We are not responsible for loss or damages to items left in the common areas. Please help us in keeping them clean and tidy.
● We do not store items for your rental booking ahead of the photoshoot or left behind after the shoot unless this has been pre-arranged ahead of time (subject to additional fees). If you need to arrange delivery/storage of items ahead of your event, please email us at [email protected] and we will advise you what we can do.
● Makeup and changing must take place in the room that was booked during the reserved time slot.

● Our reception staff will visit the studio room 10 minutes prior to the end of your booking time to ensure that the room is left in its original condition. Furniture and props need to be moved back to their original place, and all garbage must be placed into garbage cans.
● If our attendant finds a messy room during the room check, you will be asked to stop taking pictures and clean up the room. If the room is still left untidy at the end of the booking, there will be a $50-100 cleaning fee added to your booking.
● Please do not step on the furniture in shoes, and use indoor shoes or shoe covers when entering the studio rooms. We can provide you with shoe covers if you need them. If you are taking pictures in your outdoor shoes, you will be asked to wipe them down.
● If you need to move furniture, please lift the items and do not drag them. This damages both the floors and furniture legs. If you need assistance, please contact our studio staff and do not move items without approval.
● Please do not bring candles into the studio, unless they have glass coverings. Open-flame candles drip wax onto floors and other surfaces, causing damage.
● Please do not use any dyes in the Sanctuary bathtub. Should there be, any stains found after your booking a $50-100 cleaning fee will be added to your booking.
● Floors/furniture need to be covered if you are doing a cake smash at the studio. Buttercream often leaves slippery floors and they must be mopped before the next booking.
● No open flame, dry ice, sparkers or smoke machines are allowed at the studio. If you absolutely require it for your photo shoot, please email us at [email protected]
● Please book an additional hour if you are bringing confetti, fake snow, or feathers into the studio space so that our team has sufficient time to vacuum the floors before the next booking. If you decide not to book the additional time, we will ask you to stop taking pictures during our room check and will charge you an additional $50 for cleanup.
● If there are damages to the floor/furniture/props / V Flats, or any other studio equipment, including extension cords during your booking, you will be asked to reimburse the cost of the damages.
● The broken furniture leg damage fee is $200, floor damage and deep scratches can range from $100-500 depending on the extent of the damage, and furniture damage is subject to a $100-500 damage fee.
● Your booking is only for the room that you rented for the duration of the rental. If you require additional time to set up / take down, please factor it into your booking. If you need extra time and the room is available, you can rent additional time in 30-minute increments.
● If you have a large party, please factor in the time to bring/take out your belongings from the studio space. You will be asked to wrap up your shoot 10 minutes early so that you can start clearing out the space. Alternatively, you can dedicate a person from your party to start removing items while you are finishing the photo session..

● We now welcome pets at our locations, we ask that you email [email protected] if you would like to bring a pet to your photoshoot.
● There will be a $50 pet fee (per pet) associated with this request.
● Our studio is a family-friendly environment so please ensure your pets are not on our furniture or in the common areas.
● Should your pet make a mess on our studio floor there will be a $50 charge and if your pet makes a mess on the furniture, there will be a $300 charge.

Disclaimer

We reserve the right to change the decoration at any time. Some props may have been removed or damaged. It is your responsibility to call ahead or email to verify if the specific props/decor you want are available in the studio.

Rescheduling Fee

To reschedule the date and studio, there is a fee of $18 each time a change is made.
